hump day

Yesterday turned out to be more eventful then expected. At noon, I went to get my nails done. Mr. Man owed me some money so he agreed to meet me at the nail shop since it was in his neighborhood. After getting my nails done, we walked across the parking lot to grab some lunch. I have to admit, that Mr. Man still looks good to me, but I dont feel that spark that I used to feel. I tried to keep the conversation PGhe tried to turn it XXX.it was such a turn off. I almost felt disgusted watching him eat the tarter sauce off his fish sandwich while he pretended he was eating something else. After we finished lunch, he asked me if someone had stolen me away from him. I dont feel its any of Mr. Mans business about whom I am dating so I just stated that he is the one that let me go. I reminded him that HE was the one that felt like I was more then he could handle. Later that afternoon, Mr. Man called out of the blue just to tell me how beautiful I am. He complimented me on how well my skin and braids looked. Ill admit, my skin has been looking pretty damn flawless lately. Not sure if its the extra water I have been guzzling down or the MSM that I started taking. But the glow is there and noticeable. Of course, halfway through the conversation, I was reminded why I was relieved not to have to deal with Mr. Man on a regular basis. I am content being his friend at the moment and nothing more. My Mom on the other hand LOVES Mr. Man probably more then she loved J-mac. She hopes we get back together and is pushing us to date again. Right now, I am not interested. One day, I will share more details about what caused the break up. Later that afternoon, Mo came by my house. I need a new (or in my case gentle used) TV. I made arrangements to buy a TV from a guy over Craigs.list and Mo was nice enough to come with me to pick up the TV and make sure I was not getting ripped off. We were on our way to pick up the TV and I called to let the owner know. The owner was a real ass and said that I was late coming to get it and that he could not wait for me (even though I was 5 minutes from his house). I admit, I was running 20 minutes late and it was my fault for not calling ahead of time to let him know. Of course I was pissed because I had already drove 20 miles to get the damn thing and I was going to pay the dude cash. His loss though. Mo and I spent the rest of the evening shopping for a TV. After no luck in finding a decent TV in my price range, we decided to give up on the search and went to grab some dinner. After dinner, we retuned back at my house. With no working tv in the living room and my bedroom being declared off limits, what was left to do then turn on the radio, light a few candles and talk. We did very little talking. The only recognizable sounds were the super hot mix cd I made (and absolutely LOVE) some heavy breathing and an occasional moan. Had it not been for the dreaded red monster, my ideal three-week rule would have been tossed completely out the window. I felt like a freaky ass teenager last night not wanting to go all the way (even though I really did want to go all the way) but rounding third base and was just a few feet from reaching the home plate. |
