the bliss is back
|
My happiness has returned almost as quickly as it left. Last night we found out that Mr. Man passed his Brokers exam. Indeed a cause for celebration. We met Rie at the airport to get our Vegas tickets. She was kind enough to give Mr. Man her airline voucher since she will be unable to use it before it expires. Then Mr. Man and I went for dinner, my treat of course. Dinner started off rocky. I made a comment the night before about him allowing others to take advantage of him and how sometimes he can be a pushover. Apparently my words settled deep into his heart and it hurt him. I obviously had no idea that I had hurt his feelings. He brought it up when I first got home but we talked about it and decided the situation was resolved. Just before dinner he brought it up again and it was then that I realized how hurtful my words were. I was in near tears because the last thing I want to do his hurt him. Again we talked about the situation. I explained my various observations of times when I felt he was hustled. Again, we resolved the situationI think. There was no make-up rendezvouswe were both pretty worn out since we have been up late almost every night this week rendezvousing. This morning as I prepared my breakfast shake, Mr. Man came up behind me to press his man hood into my back. The feeling was good. But not good enough to make me even later to work. I suppose I can go home for lunch to give my man a sweet treat and show how sincerely sorry I am for hurting his feelings. I am getting excited about the Vegas trip. Can you believe in all my 25 years of life that I have never been to Vegas and I live only an 8 hours drive from Sin City. |
