I found out this morning that next Friday will be my last day at work. They have ran out of money to continue paying me. This sucks. Here I was complaining about this job without thinking how lucky I am to have it and a steady paycheck. The interview that I went on yesterday was probably one of the most unprofessional interviews I have ever been on. When I walked in a lady just threw some papers at me to fill out. One was a long ass stupid application and the other was a scenerio. I had to come up with a diagnosis, treatment plan and write a progress note. Now mid you this would not have been a huge problem had I had proper directions. The lady who gave me the paper work bounced right after she led me to a back office to fill out the info. I didn't even hear her tell anyone else that I was there. One by one the other ladies that worked in the office begin to leave too. When I was finished with the paper work it was one hour later. I walked back into the reception area and no one was around. So I knocked on the ladies door who was supposed to be interviewing me. She was sitting in her office eating Fritos and reading a magazine. She looked startled when I introduced my self then she said "Oh, I didn't even know you were here". Which tells me that someone in that damn office aint doing there job. Anyways the interview starts with Veda (the interviewer) telling me about the program and what they do. She was very long winded. And talked for like 30 minutes before she asked me one question. During the interview, another lady kept coming in and out of the office, the phone kept ringing and Veda would stop me in mid-sentece to answer the phone. I really can't tell if it was a good interview or not. I do know that it was very unusual. The bad part was that I could tell that Veda would be a hella cool supervisor and I really would not mind having that job. It sounds like the perfect job for me to get my career started. I just dont feel that good about how the interview went. I tried to ask question but during Veda's intial 30 minute spill, she answered all the question that I had written down. So Im hoping and praying that by next week I hear back from somebody. I think that when you interview for a job, even if you don't get the position someone should send you a letter letting you know that the position has been filled or something so your not sitting around wondering what the hell is going on.
