Philly here I come!
|
Right now Im concentrating on watching the time slowly tick by. Im excited about my trip to Philly (its my first time to the city of Brotherly Love) and I feel like an eager ass kid waiting for his first road trip. Am I there yet, am I there yet, am I there yet???? If I manage to sleep on the flight tonight it will be a miracle. One of my supervisors asked me which of the different monuments and historical stuff that I was going to visit during my trip. When he saw the blank expression on my face he asked me what I was planning on doing during my two free days. When I stated Im going to the mall, he started laughing. But when I didnt return the laughter he knew I was serious. I mean, how could I possible miss out visiting the largest mall on the east coast?? All I could think of was I can hit all the major department stores like Nordstroms, Neiman Marcus, Lord & Taylor, Bloomingdales, and Macy*s at once. Its a shoppers paradise. To bad Im broke. But waitmaybe my eyes are deceiving me, but I think I just read no tax on clothing. Shoot, I aint that broke. Im coming home with something new. Even left a little extra room in my duffle bag just in case. The historical stuff has been around for hundreds of years and Im sure it aint going nowhere soon so I will have to visit the Liberty Bell another day. If I'm real lucky I might even be able to squeeze a nice looking man in my duffle bag. Ill keep my fingers crossed. |
