Way to go Me!
|
The Most unexpected almost unexplainable thing happened to me today. I received a call offering me the position that I applied for about three weeks ago. It was the job that I was totally unprepared for. I wasnt very nervous even though I sat in front of a panel of 5 people; 2 MDs 2RNs and the project coordinator. I really went into the interview not expecting a whole lot. What I got was much more. The interview went great. I was very relaxed. I decided to go home and change out of the typical interview attire of black and white before the interview. I wanted to stand out (as unprepared as I was that should have been enough). I threw on my light blue pants and a blue, white and grayish top with sheer cap sleeves. Somehow I managed to impress the people interviewing me. If you cant tell, I really am excited about the job; just not terrible thrilled about leaving my current position. I know I complain about it on a weekly basis, but its really only because I love my job just hate the pay and the certain people who make my job miserable (which is really only one person). Now I get to play the negotiating game with the HR person and hope that I can get what I want. If I do happen to win the negotiating game, my salary would increase by 25% in less than a year. Thats pretty damn good! |
