Being the 9th wheel aint always that bad.

Despite the fact that I was the 9th wheel this weekend, I had the best time I have had since moving back to Cali. I could not have invited a better group of friends. Everyone got along so well, nobody was snotty or stuck up or had nasty attitudes. Even though I spent the weekend with a bunch of couples, I really had a good time. I will admit that there was a few times when I felt completely left out. Like when we took our group picture and I got stuck in the front of the group by myself and when we were walking through one of the casinos and I walked alone. I actually broke down and cried Saturday in the shower because I felt so alone. But I drank away my sorrows and ended up having a blast. For you Cali folks, yall need to hit up the NBS (National Brotherhood of Skiers) annual event. I met some really cool professional peeps. They had plenty of stuff going on and the parties. were off the hook. I unintentionally talked to two guys who happen to be from Sac and are friends. They are such good friends that they even traveled up to Tahoe together. It really was an accident. I had no idea that they came together until the end of the night when they were both trying to walk me outside. Oops! I never did go meet the UoP (University of Phoenix) guy. But since cousin Rie, Shawntsy, and Take-two are all saying go meet him, then I guess I will. I will email Mr. UoP and plan to meet up with him sometime this week. I dont think I will make it to the Black and White ball with him because it is such short noticebut then again I have this gorgeous black dress that would be perfect..hmmmmsomething to think about. |
