Day three--- I was wondering why Tuesday night and Wednesday morning I was not feeling really sore. After all I have not worked out sincedare I say it.OCTOBER! Sheesh, thats almost embarrassing. Even this morning when I got up, I was okay. Felt a little stiffness in the arms and shoulders but not anything a soldier like me cant handle. I went and did my regular workout. Even stepped it up a pinch. After my workout, I go home take a shower and get ready for work. I decided against heels today because I can feel some pinching in my calves. So I opted for the sandals that still have some height to them just with out the two-inch spike. I drive to work, park my car, open the door, and step out. Then it hits me. My legs wont seem to budge. What is normally a 30 second walk from my car to the front door of my office took close to two minutes. My ass, my legs and just about every muscle from my eyelids to my pinky toe is sore. But Im not complaining. I cant complain. Its my own damn fault that I am in unnecessary pain. If I had kept up with my workout routine some 6-months ago, I would not be going thru hell now. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I went to the mall yesterday after work. But I did good. I went to get exactly what I needed. Some new tennis shoes and new workout pants. Of course I stopped to check all the pretty things my favorite stores had. Even tried on a few things. But luckily I was mortified by my appearance, which allowed me to put back all the pretty skirts, tops and capri pants that I really want. Until I lose some weight, Im not buying anything cute and summery. Thats my goal and Im going to do everything in my power to stick to it. |
